7th Annual Drive for Scholarships a Success

The Edison Foundation at 水果派 enjoyed a great day of golf at the scenic Troy Country Club during its 7th Annual Drive for Scholarships event on July 25. The event welcomed 82 participating golfers, as well as volunteers and sponsors, and raised $8,639 for scholarships. This brings the total funds raised through the annual event to $94,973, equating to at least 94 $1,000 scholarships over the past seven years.

Drive for Scholarships

Golfers take part in The Edison Foundation鈥檚 7th Annual Drive for Scholarships event, held at the Troy Country Club.

The Edison Foundation at 水果派 enjoyed a great day of golf at the scenic Troy Country Club during its 7th Annual Drive for Scholarships event on July 25. The event welcomed 82 participating golfers, as well as volunteers and sponsors, and raised $8,639 for scholarships. This brings the total funds raised through the annual event to $94,973, equating to at least 94 $1,000 scholarships over the past seven years.

All proceeds directly benefit the student scholarship program, which provides 水果派 students with the opportunity to attain higher education. Recipients of the scholarship can pursue their educational and career goals with less financial worry.

The Miami Acres Hospital team placed first in the scramble, consisting of the following golfers: Jason Johnston, Joe Lavelle, Joe Goodall, and Matt Shaffer. Placing second was the Critex team, consisting of Tyler White, Damen Patel, Vince Rogers, and Codie Deaton. Coming in third place was the Littman Thomas Agency team, consisting of Gavin Glasscoe, Cameron Caldwell, Matt Jones, and John Brooks.

In addition to 18 holes of golf, the scramble included lunch, various competitions, and raffle prizes.
